Special guest, Rex Nelson, Senior Editor of the Arkansas Democrat Gazette joins Sandy & Boomer this week for Off The Back Porch. Some of the topics this week include:

• Rex has been accused of being overly critical of the Governor, is it personal?

• According to Rex, the worst thing to ever happen to Arkansas politics was when the messages became nationlized. No longer are we discussing local issues to decide races, it’s national issues

• Rex, who once was Chief of Communications for Governor Mike Huckabee, said his office was often a “safe space” for legislators who needed to vent!

• Rex believes we have moved away from a part-time legislature and he says succesful business people can’t leave their jobs to become a full time legislators.
